While the Scarlet PI comic is set to be somewhat of a mix between "Slice of Life" and "Anti-Corporation," I really wanted to show a police procedual with Scarlet PI, 'CSI' or 'Law and Order' set in Walt Disney World, so to say. That's the idea I had in mind when I wrote 'Murder in Main Street USA,' my first in a series of Scarlet PI novels.
Scarlet starts her day dropping in at Disney World's Magic Kingdom expecting the normal minor hassles that plague life in an Amusement Park. She didn't expect her first actual homicide by someone who looked too uncannily like Snow White. And she didn't expect her first homicide case to lead to something that could be too big for Disney to handle.

The popularity of the story, combined with the novelity of the concept and the Creative Commons Licence, has enabled a friend of mine, D from Honduras, to write his own Scarlet PI story which I'll be promoting on this site. 'Adventure under the Rising Sun' takes place in Tokyo, with their own Amusement Park Division with a pair of characters that are more than they appear.
