Biological History:
Johnny’s official lineage is unknown, although it is apparent that his bloodline has some house mouse in it. He was raised in an orphanage in the colony where he underwent a standard education of the colony, which involves a 8th Grade reading level, a Brown Belt level in Tae Kwan Do, and above average Parkour skills. MRI scans of his skeleton also show ‘Hard Body’ training in his forearms and shins.
Johnny’s lineage also has a variation of an experimental serum similar to the NIMH experiments of the 1950s. These experiments are better told in detail in the Don Bluth Movie, ‘The Secret of NIMH,” where Johnny got his name. According to the file, the experiment not only enhanced intelligence and slowed the aging process, but it also accelerated the offspring’s evolution. Johnny’s physiology benefits with a multiple generation progression, where the enhancements became more natural. It is also noted that the modified genes also gave him a more humanoid appearance. Roughly 30% of the mice in his colony has this trait, and is regarded as a mutation.
After the mishap that grew him to his current size, there was a period where he experienced a temporary case of anemia, due to the physiological limitations of the procedure he fell into. (Layman’s Terms: It can adjust the size of the red blood cells, but cannot add or multiply the number of red blood cells; the person’s bone marrow must have time to compensate. This has been put on record as a medical warning.) After his recovery, the further effects of the procedure allow him to converse with humans, as well as further slow his metabolism thanks to his bigger size. Hence, Johnny’s aging process is further slowed to the current life expectancy of 25 years. Maybe longer, if future medical discoveries warrant and he maintains his good health and exercise regimen.

The original Three Mickeys in the game “Epic Mickey.” The Scrapper was taken out of the game, but it pretty much describes the Mickey Mouse of the late 1920s and 30s, and it is that side of Mickey I’d want to show in Johnny.
Personality:
It is noted that the video game “Epic Mickey” allows Mickey Mouse to get back in touch with his more mischievous side, which was more present in his earlier years in the 1920s. Johnny Briz is known to be somewhat of a mischievous type already, but considerably toned down in comparison to 1920s Mickey. He’s much more good-natured and friendly toward others, although he’s not about to be someone’s corporate mascot anytime soon. His most notable trait is a razor sharp wit with an near infallible sense of deadpan humor. His tendency to snark could get him in trouble just as much as it gets him out.
He is very curious about the human world around him and is often seen exploring an area or investigating whatever perked his interest. When he does pull off a prank, it’s mostly out of boredom and an attempt to get the humans watching him to giggle and laugh, much like a cartoon character. His mindset is that, if they’re thinking he’s cute, they’re not thinking him as a pest. And with his perchance for cleanliness and hygiene, he’s very accessible for hugs and cuddles.
Back in the colony, he seen the classic Disney cartoons sometimes played around the Walt Disney World resort area, and it captured his imagination just like any other child. He’d often dream of going into the human world and doing the same kind of stuff that Mickey (AKA “The Black Mouse”) has done and in essence be a Real-Live version of a cartoon character. Being 2’5″ and living with Amber Merichello, he might have that wish come true. Although the future is up in the air for Johnny.
