Ivan Mayne's Stories

is a Scriptwriter from Singapore which I have befriended during my adventures online. Occasionally he sends me scripts over Air Mail with the promise of more and the hopes that they will be made into comic strips or books. The masterpiece in his collection is his recent Foreordained series. In this web page, that hope will be realized as FoxFire Studios bring these stories to life:

• NEW!!--Clouds and Water--This martial arts yarn is the story of two old friends,their tumultuous past, and their meeting that proves that karma is no respecter of persons.
• Enraptia--Ivan Mayne's first furry series!! Described in his own fashion as "Star Wars with his own sentient animals", With a good bit of a Spaghetti Western with what was read of the opening scenes. The characters are the usual gamut: Princess figures, young heroes, sidekicks, quests and "evil empire" villains, but expect everything to be more than what they seem. "I have been fashioning an elaborate story arc," He says. "I hope to bring a new spin to an old premise."

  On a faraway world known as Enraptia a lone wanderer stumbles into a community of freedom fighters, only to discover the great battle that is being waged by the planet's denizens against powerful enemies, the cost of which is the planet as they know it.

• Foreordained--A battle between light and darkness takes place in the Golden Age of China in a saga loaded with martial arts action and adventure.
• Kistune Tails--Four Mystical Fox Spirits--Kitsunes--are spirited into the 21st century and in the middle of a clash for power and political might. Set in a world totaly alien to them, they encounter obstacles both from their home realm and from this strange realm they were taken to, the four foxes try to keep one step ahead of anyone who stands in their way, both natural and supernatural.

• Dragon Girl-- A tribute to the Movie "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and tells of an explaination on why she jumped at the end of the movie. If you didn't see the movie, that's all the spoiling you're going to get from the owner of this site!
• It's Me, Samwise--a 'Lord of the Rings' spoof sung to Gangster's Paradice.
• Paths of Glory--In an attempt at different sorts of writing, you will find here collections of poetry and a little essay here, which Daniel Harris called "poignant and to the point"..
• Prometheus--Greek Mythology with a modern spin! A scientist's life comes down around him as his Paramilitary Employers turn his wife into a Werewolf!!
