Blood and Metal is my oldest and most remembered fanfiction. In fact, my pen name came from the title character from that story. And yet, even after over a decade, I'm still unsatisfied and in fact downright vexed at how crappy it ended. It seemed to just meander toward nowhere seeking for a happy ending for the title character, who seemed to have the worse case of reaping the father's sins on record.
Let's just say that, if you think the Skywalker clan has family issues. Wait til you see the Kinobors.
I wanted that happily ever after for the long suffering dude, so I decided to just remake the story from the ground up, with a completely original world. While it's still in an Closed Door Draft, I found that in order to do this new world justice, that I have to expand the story into a long series.
